Alpen Cookies

Our mouth-watering muesli cookies are delightfully crunchy, making for the perfect afternoon snack or mid-morning treat.

What You Need

  • 175g softened butter or spread
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 175g softened butter or spread
  • 175g self raising flour
  • 175g Alpen Original Muesli Demerara
    sugar for sprinkling
  • What to Do

    1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celsius.
    2. Lightly grease 3 baking trays.
    3. Put butter or spread, sugar, egg and flour into a large bowl and beat together until well blended and smooth.
    4. Stir in the Alpen original muesli.
    5. Spoon 24-28 teaspoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking trays, leaving room for the cookies to spread.
    6. Sprinkle the top with a little extra Alpen original muesli and demerara sugar.
    7. Bake in pre-heated oven for 10-15minutes or until golden brown at the edges. Lift onto a wire rack to cool.
